Meet Our Practitioners

Dr. RJ Henneberg

With a caring and generous heart, Dr. RJ serves the families of Spokane, Washington at Sunrise Dental. While his professional goal is to maintain your and your family’s oral health, his personal goal is to get to know your family. It’s easy to form that warm relationship with his gentle, compassionate spirit. Dr. RJ completed his dental degree at Loma Linda School of Dentistry in 2009. He currently maintains memberships with the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Spokane District Dental Society.

What Dr. RJ enjoys most of all is spending time with his wife and three kids. They also recently got a puppy that he is doing his best to tolerate. Music is a passion, along with golfing, skiing, and hiking. He never fully grew out of the kid phase and can be found moving dirt with his skid steer in his free time.

Dr. Robert Renck

Dr Robert Renck was born and raised in Spokane. He graduated from Loma Linda University school of Dentistry in 2009.  Since dental school, he has dedicated a lot of his time to continuing his education in the fields of Dental Implants, Invisalign, and clear aligners.  He is dedicated to helping those with multiple dental issues come up with a solid treatment plan that will work for them.  Dr Renck enjoys alpine skiing, cycling, and hiking with his wife and 4 children.

Dr. Brad Hull

Dr Hull was born and raised in Coeur d’Alene, went to the University of Idaho for his undergrad, and the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. After graduating, he moved back to Spokane where he met his wife Christina. They have one daughter, Adelyn, and as a family they enjoy working on their property. They have a beautiful garden, 20 chickens, several pigs, 3 cats, and 1 dog… some would call it “chaos farms”. Dr. Hull also has a love for cars, old and new, enjoys rock climbing and bouldering, and likes playing video games.

Dr. Bryce Fortner

After receiving his bachelor’s degree in biology in 2008 from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, Dr. Fortner attended the Indiana University School of Dentistry, graduating with his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2012. He soon returned to Washington and began working for a community health clinic in the small town of Clarkston. In 2018, he transferred with the same company to the Spokane area, where he currently resides.

During Dr. Fortner’s time as a community health dentist, he gained experience in oral surgery and sedation procedures, performing over 12,000 extractions, as well as hundreds of wisdom tooth extractions. He also completed the prestigious IV sedation course taught by Drs. Ken Reed and Stanley Malamed.

Dr. Fortner and his wife, Jenalee, have been married since 2006 and have four children. In his spare time, he enjoys activities with the family, such as camping, biking, swimming, and skiing. He has also recently been learning to play the guitar and likes to put his new golf clubs to use whenever time allows.

“My mission is to provide skillful surgical services, to the absolute highest professional standards, in an environment that is convenient, comfortable, and familiar to each patient.”

Giving back to the community that gives us so much.

Free Dental Day

Once a year, we open up our doors to the people in our community that need dental services and cannot otherwise afford the cost of care. These complimentary cleanings, fillings, and extractions are performed on a first-come, first-served basis.
